If you've run agents, automations or a chat tool with plugins, here is the part the homepage doesn't say. Desk is a full agent runtime on a machine of its own, with real tools, and you own every credential.
Each Desk is a private, always-on server in Toronto (DigitalOcean TOR1) with its own files, its own Chrome, and a persistent schedule. Close your laptop; it keeps working. Its data sits on an encrypted volume, snapshotted nightly and kept 30 days.
Desk drives a real Chrome on its machine. Watch it from your phone or laptop and take the mouse when a site wants a password or a code — Desk keeps the signed-in session afterwards.
"Every morning at 8, summarise new enquiries." Durable schedules, visible and stoppable from one page; each run still asks before anything leaves the business.
Google (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Contacts) through a Google app that belongs to you — no shared app. webfaCeMEdia and WordPress built in. Any MCP server, by URL or command, from the Connections page.
Use ours at cost +30% — an account set to zero-data-retention, so a provider that would keep or train on your prompts is refused the request — or ask us to set the Desk up with your own OpenRouter key (DeepSeek, GLM, Kimi, Qwen, Anthropic, OpenAI). A private-hardware option keeps inference on Canadian machines.
Word, PDF, PowerPoint, Excel, text and branded graphics from Markdown, on the business's own letterhead (logo, colours, fonts from the Brand section). Files land in the Desk folder with a link in the reply and a push to the phone.
Guided is read-only with approvals; Full adds file writes and a shell inside a sandbox, still with approvals on anything consequential. Modes without a shell can't reach one, even by delegation.
Approvals are fail-closed and logged; every conversation, tool call and approval is in the session log you can export. Sign-in is per Desk (password, phone sessions, or Sign in with Google). It's the same product the homepage sells — this is just the engineering view. Pricing is the same.
Desk is one part of the webfaCeMEdia platform — the site, the app, the analytics, the social calendar and the newsletters — and through the webfaCeMEdia connector it runs them: page edits, scheduled posts, email campaigns. See the whole platform →
